Treatment
Foster Care
Who We Serve
Growing Home Southeast’s Treatment Foster Care
(TFC) services are for children and youth who
are experiencing intense physical, mental and/or
emotional needs.
How we serve them
• Children and youth referred for Growing Home
Southeast’s TFC services are placed with specially-trained
treatment parents who work closely with a clinical
specialist to assure youth are able to achieve
success in the program.
• Comprehensive care plans are developed to
guide the treatment parents, clinical specialists
and youth toward specific goals. The care plan
identifies measurable objectives that are identified
by the youth and those associated with treatment.
• Youth and treatment parents receive close
supervision by clinical specialists and clinical
consultation.
• Growing Home Southeast provides three levels
of TFC. Children and youth are placed based
on the severity of their behaviors and needs.
Help make a difference in a child’s
life
There is a growing need for families willing
to open their hearts and homes to children and
teenagers who have been removed from their biological
families. The reasons vary from neglect and
abuse to abandonment, but the fact remains --
these young people desperately need the refuge
of a loving and warm foster home.
Who qualifies as a treatment foster
parent?
Couples or single adults committed to providing
a loving home for children, to learning how
to positively parent, and to providing children
ample space to grow. Families offers support
to children and youth who are experiencing intense
mental, emotional and sever behavioral challenges
in supportive and stable foster homes. Treatment
foster parents demonstrate stability and maturity,
and represent all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Interested in making a difference
in the life of a child?
